Air Force Helicopter Conducts Trial Landing in Tirunelveli for NEET-UG 2026 Re-Exam Security

An Indian Air Force helicopter conducted a trial landing at Tirunelveli Armed Reserve Ground in Tamil Nadu as part of enhanced security preparations for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination. The drill tested arrangements to transport question papers by helicopter from Madurai to examination centres, aimed at preventing further leaks.
The original NEET examination was cancelled last month after allegations of question paper leakage emerged. For the rescheduled test on June 21, authorities plan to fly papers from Delhi to Madurai by aircraft, then transport them via Army helicopter to Tirunelveli under Air Force protection. The National Testing Agency has also restricted Telegram access in India until June 22 to prevent misuse of the platform.
