Delhi Police detain Neha Bora, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan during protest

Delhi Police detained several prominent activists and political figures during a protest in the capital on Tuesday. Among those held were Neha Bora, CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, social activist Yogendra Yadav, and lawyer Prashant Bhushan.
The detentions came as police imposed restrictions on gatherings and movement in the area. In a post on social media platform X, Bora commented on the restrictions, saying 'Dilli Haat becomes Jantar Mantar today,' referring to the shift in protest venue due to police curbs.
The incident highlights ongoing tensions between civil society groups and law enforcement over the right to protest and assemble in the national capital.
