YouTuber Dhruv Rathee amplifies false flag theory on Flydubai terror attack
YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has amplified conspiracy theories claiming the September 30 Flydubai hijacking was a false flag operation orchestrated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to reports of his social media posts.
The flight, carrying 180 passengers mostly Israeli Jews to Tel Aviv, was targeted by Omani co-pilot Hamam-al-Hammami. Indian Captain Smit Machchhar prevented the attack despite being stabbed, reopening the cockpit door to allow passengers and crew to overpower the attacker.
Rathee acknowledged the captain's bravery but then posed questions suggesting the entire incident was politically motivated theatre, framing unverified allegations as open questions requiring investigation.
