Anant Ambani Visits Kamakhya Temple Ahead of Assam's Ambubachi Mela

Anant Ambani, executive director of Reliance Industries, visited Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati district on Tuesday and performed traditional rituals including circumambulation around the temple premises. The visit comes ahead of Assam's renowned Ambubachi Mela, one of the country's significant spiritual festivals.

The Ambubachi Mela is scheduled to begin on June 22, 2026, and conclude on June 26. The festival is known for attracting devotees and Tantric practitioners from across the country. During the mela, the main sanctum of the temple closes, based on traditional beliefs. Temple management received Ambani and extended wishes on behalf of his family.
