BJP leader K. Annamalai has questioned the 'military-grade' security arrangements announced for the NEET retest, arguing that such measures create additional pressure on students appearing for the exam.

Annamalai contended that while security is necessary, the intensity of measures being implemented may adversely affect student performance and mental well-being during the crucial medical entrance examination.
