129 architects oppose BKC pod taxi project as economically inefficient

Over 129 architects have formally registered their opposition to the proposed pod taxi project planned for Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), citing economic inefficiency as the primary concern.
The architects argue that the automated pod taxi system does not represent a viable or cost-effective transport solution for the business district. Their collective opposition raises questions about the project's feasibility and long-term sustainability.
The development comes as Mumbai continues to explore innovative mobility solutions to address congestion and transportation challenges in its commercial hub.
