Arunachal Pradesh Frontier Highway progresses towards 2029 completion

India's Arunachal Frontier Highway project has cleared major obstacles and is now on track for construction. The strategic road aims to enhance connectivity along the Chinese border and facilitate rapid movement of defence forces in the region.
Land acquisition issues and compensation disputes, which had previously delayed the project, have been largely resolved. The highway is now expected to be completed by 2029, marking a significant infrastructure milestone for the north-eastern state.
