ASHAs in Assam to shape AI platform for cervical cancer screening

Approximately 110 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in Barak Valley are partnering with doctors, programmers, and researchers to develop an AI-enabled training platform for cervical cancer screening in Assam.
The collaboration aims to incorporate ground-level insights from health workers into the design of digital tools. ASHAs, who work at the grassroots level across India's health system, are providing feedback to ensure the platform meets practical screening needs.
The initiative seeks to improve cervical cancer detection and awareness through technology-driven solutions tailored to local contexts in the state.
