Assam Singer Simanta Shekhar Quits BJP, Rules Out Joining Any Party

Simanta Shekhar, a singer from Assam, has quit the BJP. He has also stepped down from his position as chairperson of the Assam State Film, Finance and Development Corporation.

Shekhar did not indicate plans to join any other political party, marking a departure from the ruling party in the state.
