Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Fakhar Zaman Sold at Base Price in ILT20 Auction

Three Pakistan cricket stars—Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Fakhar Zaman—were sold at their base price in the ILT20 Season 5 auction. Desert Vipers, a UAE-based franchise, secured all three players for PKR 2.2 crore each (approximately ₹76 lakh each) after no Indian-owned franchise placed bids.

Barbar Azam, 31, is among Pakistan's most recognised batsmen. He recently led Peshawar Zalmi to the PSL 11 title in May and was named captain of the PSL Team of the Tournament. He also played in Australia's Big Bash League, scoring 202 runs in 11 matches for Sydney Sixers. Despite his credentials, he attracted no bidding interest above the base price.
