Bank Employees Union Threatens Three-Day Strike From September 28

The All-India Bank Employees Union has threatened a three-day strike beginning September 28 if negotiations on their key demand fail to yield results. The union is pressing for a four-Saturday holiday policy in the banking sector.
The strike call comes after the union indicated that discussions with bank management on the working hours and holiday structure remain unresolved. Bank employees have cited work-life balance concerns as the primary reason for seeking the revised holiday schedule.
