Ben Sawyer Steps Down as New Zealand Women's Cricket Coach

Ben Sawyer has departed his position as head coach of the New Zealand women's cricket team following a review of the women's high performance structure. His contract, which was originally set to conclude in December 2026, has been terminated as a result of the review process.

Sawyer's four-year tenure with the team comes to an early end with this decision. The review appears to have prompted changes in the coaching setup for the national women's cricket programme.
