BEST to Deploy 236 Extra Buses for Mount Mary Yatra in Bandra

Mumbai's BEST Undertaking will deploy 236 extra buses to handle the expected surge of devotees during the week-long Mount Mary Yatra from September 13 to 20. The additional services will connect Bandra railway station (West) with Hill Road garden, as heavy crowds around Mount Mary Church will prevent regular buses from reaching the shrine directly.

The special buses aim to ease congestion at the rail-bus interchange and provide safer transit for devotees arriving by suburban trains. BEST has also stationed bus inspectors and traffic officers at key points to guide passengers and manage crowd flow during the pilgrimage period.
