Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal Available for Mumbai's Ranji Trophy Campaign

Suryakumar Yadav, a veteran of 86 First-Class matches, has informed the Mumbai Cricket Association that he is available for the forthcoming Ranji Trophy season. The batsman has been absent from domestic cricket since 2025 due to Indian team commitments but now seeks a comeback to domestic competition.
Yadav's return would strengthen Mumbai's middle order alongside Sarfaraz Khan and Musheer Khan following Ajinkya Rahane's retirement. He could also captain the side if Shardul Thakur remains unavailable due to injury. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has also expressed his availability, though he may be away with the Indian team in New Zealand depending on selection in limited-overs squads.
Mumbai, the 41-time Ranji Trophy champions, will announce their squad soon ahead of their campaign opener against Chandigarh at the Wankhede Stadium on October 11.
