BJP president Nitin Nabin calls 'shuddhikaran' row a Congress conspiracy

BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Wednesday accused the Congress of orchestrating a 'divisive conspiracy' over the row surrounding 'shuddhikaran' (purification). Nabin alleged that slogans associated with a particular religion were raised from what he termed the 'sacred land' where the purification ceremony was performed, suggesting deliberate provocation.

The statement comes amid controversy over the purification event, with Nabin framing the criticism as a political attack by the opposition Congress party.
