BJP chief Nitin Navalin hits back at Rahul Gandhi over UPI charges row

BJP national president Nitin Navalin dismissed opposition criticism of UPI MDR transaction charges, stating that the opposition's dissatisfaction stems from India's continuous development and progress. He said the opposition lacks a constructive perspective to engage on such matters.
Navalin pointed to government initiatives including ₹7 lakh crore investment in infrastructure, Ayushman Bharat scheme, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as evidence of development. He said rather than levelling accusations, there should be discussion on how these development models advance society.
During a Maharashtra visit coinciding with Ganesh puja celebrations, Navalin also toured Mumbai and Pune, highlighting Maharashtra's culture and civilization as a source of inspiration.
