BJP urges Election Commission to act against TVK functionaries for involving children in bypoll campaign
The BJP has urged the Election Commission of India to take action against Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) functionaries for allegedly involving children in a bypoll campaign. BJP leader Nainar Nagenthran shared a video clip on social media and questioned whether Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was unaware that engaging children in election campaigns constitutes an offence under electoral law.
The complaint highlights the TVK's alleged violation of election conduct rules. The BJP contended that such involvement of minors in political activities breaches established election guidelines.
