BJP and Congress clash over mimicry row as Gandhi laughs at Modi jab
A verbal confrontation has erupted between the BJP and Congress over a satirical remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a Congress event. The dispute began after a video surfaced showing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi laughing following a speaker's comment about Modi's interaction with an elderly woman at the 'Chhatron ki Gunj' gathering.
The BJP criticised Congress for mocking the Prime Minister, while the opposition party defended the moment as satire. Congress representatives argued that satire and political commentary are legitimate forms of expression, while BJP leaders accused them of crossing the line into disrespect.
