BJP launches nationwide campaign to counter opposition allegations on electoral body

The BJP is preparing to launch a countrywide campaign to address opposition accusations against the Supplementary Integrated Report (SIR) and the Election Commission of India. Party MPs, MLAs and senior leaders will reach out to voters at booth level with factual information to counter these allegations.
The party has prepared a 24-page factsheet addressing every question raised by the opposition, ranging from claims about 13 crore voter names being removed from rolls, to issues around Form 6 declarations and ECINET concerns. Senior party leaders are expected to be assigned responsibility for the campaign in their respective constituencies.
Beyond ground-level outreach, the BJP will employ social media and other communication channels. Party leaders and ministers will also hold press conferences across Delhi and other cities to both refute opposition charges and highlight alleged institutional misuse by opponents.
