BJP leader files complaint alleging Abhishek Banerjee's link to soil theft racket

A BJP leader has filed a police complaint at Bishnupur Police Station in Kolkata's southern suburbs, accusing Abhishek Banerjee of links to a soil pilferage racket. The complaint alleges that Banerjee misappropriated ₹250 crore from a central government relief fund designated for Cyclone Amphan victims.

The allegations centre on the diversion of disaster relief funds and unauthorized extraction of soil resources.
