BJP's Gaurav Bhatia Files ₹2 Crore Defamation Suit Against CJP Leaders in Delhi HC

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia has filed a defamation suit against Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka in the Delhi High Court, seeking ₹2 crore in damages. The case stems from a post shared on X on September 5, featuring a graphic that attributed statements to Bhatia calling someone a "mentally challenged Naxalite" and "filled with casteist venom."
Bhatia demanded removal of the posts and an unconditional apology within 24 hours, calling the content fake. Das later acknowledged the graphic may have been AI-generated but challenged BJP leaders to repeat the allegations themselves. Bhatia said the defamation case will be heard in court on facts, evidence, and the rule of law.
