Three injured as boulders fall on car in Nilgiris during heavy rains
Heavy rains swept across multiple areas in the Nilgiris district overnight, including Udhagamandalam, Coonoor, and Burliyar. During the downpour, boulders dislodged and fell onto a moving car, injuring three people inside the vehicle.
The incident underscores the risks posed by monsoon weather in hilly terrain, where landslides and falling debris are common hazards during prolonged rainfall.
