BRICS Summit 2026: Union Ministers, CMs To Travel Together In Single Bus From Parliament

Union Ministers and Chief Ministers attending the BRICS Summit 2026 will travel together in a single bus from Parliament to the summit venue at Bharat Mandapam, sources said. The participating leaders will assemble at Parliament before proceeding jointly to the venue. The exact assembly and departure time is yet to be finalised.

The arrangement aims to ease traffic congestion in the national capital and minimise disruption to the public during the summit. Instead of multiple individual convoys, the coordinated movement will reduce pressure on roads and help security and traffic agencies manage routes more efficiently. The move aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's directive to ensure major official programmes cause minimal disruption to daily public life.
