BSP's Parliamentary Presence Dwindles as Party Loses Ground

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), established in 1984 by Kanshi Ram to provide political representation and strength to Dalit communities, has seen its parliamentary presence shrink significantly in recent years.
Once a major political force in Indian politics, the BSP's electoral performance has declined considerably. The party, which was created with the explicit goal of advancing Dalit interests and amplifying their voice in governance, now struggles to maintain a foothold in national Parliament.
