CAT 2026 registrations touch 2.84 lakh, down slightly from previous year

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 has recorded 2.84 lakh registrations, according to the latest figures. This represents a minor dip compared to the previous year's registration count.
CAT is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to postgraduate management programmes at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) campuses and other leading business schools across the country.
The slight decline in registrations may reflect variations in candidate interest or demographic trends among management aspirants. Despite the marginal decrease, the registration numbers remain substantial, indicating continued demand for MBA and related management degrees in India.
