ED raids TMC MP Nadimul Haque's residence in money laundering probe

The Enforcement Directorate carried out searches at the residence of Trinamool Congress MP Nadimul Haque and seven other locations in connection with a money laundering investigation. The probe centres on financial dealings and alleged illegal transactions related to the Urdu newspaper Akhbar-E-Mashriq.

The agency is collecting documentary and digital evidence under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act as part of its investigation. Details regarding evidence recovered and the ED's next course of action are yet to be disclosed.
