Centre deploys military, considers Telegram ban to prevent NEET paper leak

The National Test Agency will conduct the NEET re-examination on Sunday, June 21, following the earlier paper leak incident. The Centre has announced multiple security measures to prevent a repeat of the breach.
These include deployment of military personnel to oversee the examination process and consideration of blocking Telegram, the messaging platform allegedly used in the previous leak. The agency is also tightening protocols at examination centres across the country.
The re-exam aims to restore confidence in the medical entrance test after the compromised paper undermined the credibility of the selection process.
