Centre appoints two directors, joint director to NTA amid NEET exam controversies

The Centre has appointed two directors and a joint director to the National Testing Agency (NTA) as part of efforts to strengthen the agency amid scrutiny over examination-related controversies. The appointments are part of broader structural reforms at the agency, including tighter protocols for paper evaluation, greater involvement of specialists and changes to examination management systems.
The moves signal the government's commitment to addressing concerns that have surrounded major entrance exams conducted by NTA, including NEET.
