Centre, Punjab blame each other as drug problem worsens: Channi

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has accused the Centre and Punjab government of trading blame while the drug menace continues to spread into villages across the state.
In an interview, Channi highlighted that finger-pointing between federal and state authorities has done little to address the growing trafficking problem. He emphasized that coordinated action is needed to tackle the issue effectively rather than shifting responsibility.
Channi's remarks reflect ongoing tensions over drug control responsibilities between the state administration and central agencies in Punjab, a region long grappling with narcotics trafficking.
