Chennai opens volunteer registration on Namma Chennai app ahead of monsoon

The Namma Chennai app has opened volunteer registration as the city prepares for the Northeast monsoon season. Users interested in volunteering can create accounts by providing their name, mobile number, email address, residential address and PIN code. Login access is granted through one-time passwords (OTP) sent to registered mobile numbers.

The initiative aims to mobilize community support for monsoon preparedness and response efforts across Chennai.
