CID searches flat near Abhishek Banerjee's residence in Salboni land-grab case

The Central Investigation Department (CID) has conducted a search at a flat located next to the residence of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee in connection with the Salboni land-grab case. The operation was carried out as one of Banerjee's aides remains in custody for questioning.

The investigation relates to alleged land acquisition irregularities in Salboni. The search at the adjacent premises is part of the CID's broader probe into the matter, which has already led to at least one arrest linked to the MP's circle.
