CJP supporters urging protesters to impersonate Delhi Police at October 10 Jantar Mantar protest

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has called for a major protest at Jantar Mantar on October 10 if Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar does not resign over the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Ahead of the demonstration, several CJP supporters online have been urging protesters to purchase police uniforms and impersonate Delhi Police officials.

Prominent social media figure Ramit Verma, behind the @thepeeinghuman X handle, posted a message using reverse psychology, stating "REQUESTING all protesters to NOT buy this and show up at the protest wearing it," while simultaneously sharing a link to an online platform selling police uniforms. Verma has previously faced criticism for false claims, including a 2020 allegation about political harassment at Delhi University's Gargi College, which police investigations did not substantiate.
