CJI Surya Kant, CM Shivakumar Stress Democracy at NLSIU Convocation

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar were among the dignitaries at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) convocation in Bengaluru.

Addressing the graduating students, Shivakumar highlighted the foundations of democratic governance. "Strong democracy is where a citizen has the freedom to question the government," he said, underscoring the importance of public scrutiny and accountability in a functioning democratic system.
