CJP Expands Education Protest Campaign, Bengaluru And Hyderabad Next On National Tour

Protest Movement Reaches Southern Cities
The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is set to take its education-focused protest campaign to Bengaluru and Hyderabad on June 14 as part of a broader nationwide mobilisation aimed at pressing for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to the organisers, demonstrations will be held at Dharma Chowk in Hyderabad during the morning hours, while supporters in Bengaluru are expected to gather later in the day at Freedom Park.
Nationwide Campaign Underway
The agitation began in Pune, where activists and supporters assembled at Savitribai Phule Pune University to launch a series of public meetings and demonstrations. The campaign is scheduled to travel through several cities before culminating in the national capital later this month.
Lucknow and Amritsar are among the next stops on the protest calendar, with organisers planning events aimed at drawing attention to concerns related to examinations, student welfare and broader education policies.
Delhi Sit-In Warning Issued
CJP founder Abhijit Dipke has indicated that the organisation is prepared to escalate its movement if its demands remain unaddressed. He announced that an indefinite sit-in at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi would begin on June 20 if the call for the education minister's resignation is not accepted.
The planned Delhi gathering is expected to mark the final stage of the current protest schedule and could become the focal point of the party's campaign.
Focus on Examination and Education Concerns
The party has been actively raising issues related to examination management, evaluation processes and the functioning of the education system. Earlier this year, it organised a large demonstration in Delhi that drew participation from students, parents and competitive examination aspirants who voiced concerns over question paper leaks and assessment practices.
To broaden outreach, organisers are promoting the campaign on social media using the hashtag #EducationMinisterMustResign, seeking support from students and citizens across the country.
