Congress flags 'Shah Instigated Removal' in voter deletion exercise

The Congress party has alleged that a voter deletion exercise amounts to a massive "Shah Instigated Removal" of voters and constitutes an assault on the Constitution. The party flagged what it termed "unusually high" deletions from electoral rolls.
Congress called the exercise an attack on democratic principles, linking it to Home Minister Amit Shah's purview over electoral and administrative matters.
