Congress attacks Modi govt over tax evasion through fake political parties

Congress general secretary and MP Jairam Ramesh has attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP over allegations of tax evasion and black money laundering through fake political parties. He claimed the government has failed to bring back black money from abroad or distribute promised ₹15 lakh to citizens, and now appears to be facilitating money laundering domestically under BJP protection.

In a post on social media platform X on Wednesday, Ramesh questioned why the Modi government has not taken action against tax evaders and fake political parties despite evidence of their involvement in illegal activities. His statement follows a press conference in New Delhi by senior Congress leader and former MP Shakti Singh Gohil.
