Congress hits out at Trump's Russia-Iran sanctions law

Congress criticized US President Donald Trump's signing of a sanctions law targeting Russia and Iran on Saturday. The party said the only way to counter a bully is to resist him forcefully.
The law signed by Trump imposes heavy tariffs on Russia and its major energy buyers. China and India are among Russia and Iran's key energy purchasers and could face tariff implications.
Congress communications chief and Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh posted on X platform: "The only way to counter a bully is to resist him forcefully."
