Congress demands review of CAPF conduct after Bengal polls violence

The Congress party has called for a review of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) conduct following alleged police actions against opposition workers during the Bengal elections. The party also sought a discussion on the reported use of pellet guns by the Rapid Action Force (RAF) against protesting students at Delhi's Jantar Mantar in July.
The Congress raised concerns about the handling of demonstrations and treatment of opposition activists during the electoral process and subsequent law enforcement responses.
