Congress demands restoration of 130 million deleted voters, seeks halt to Special Inspection Report

The Congress Working Committee passed a resolution demanding the restoration of approximately 130 million voter names that were deleted from electoral rolls. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge called for complete transparency, insisting that data on all major changes to electoral rolls be made public.
The resolution also sought a halt to the Special Inspection Report process related to electoral procedures. The party's move reflects concerns over electoral roll management and voter deletions ahead of upcoming elections.
