Congress clarifies on INDIA coalition lunch, says all parties invited but SPa couldn't attend due to late notice

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh addressed claims that the Samajwadi Party was excluded from a lunch hosted by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi on Wednesday. Ramesh stated that all INDIA coalition partners were invited, but the event was decided late the previous night, making attendance difficult for some parties.
Ramesh dismissed media speculation about a rift, asserting that the INDIA opposition alliance and other opposition parties remain united against electoral malpractices, SIR (Simultaneous Elections), and delimitation. Congress leader Karti Chidambaram also noted that the leadership would clarify on the guest list while affirming coalition unity.
