Selection committee has made up its mind on Rishabh Pant's role, says Aakash Chopra
Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra has commented on Rishabh Pant's selection and role in the Indian team, suggesting the selection committee has a clear picture of how they view the wicketkeeper-batter across formats.
Chopra noted that the distinct roles assigned to Pant in red-ball and white-ball cricket demonstrate the selectors' strategic approach to the player's position in the squad.
India's three-match ODI series against West Indies begins September 27 in Thiruvananthapuram, with matches scheduled for Guwahati on September 30 and New Chandigarh on October 3.
