Congress will not project CM face in Punjab polls, says Sachin Pilot

Congress leader Sachin Pilot announced that the party will not project a chief ministerial face ahead of the Punjab assembly elections. Rahul Gandhi will serve as the primary campaign face for the party in the state, Pilot said.

The decision marks a shift from the party's earlier practice of naming a CM candidate before elections. Pilot's statement indicates Congress's strategy to focus on broader campaign messaging rather than frontrunning a specific leadership choice for Punjab.
