U.P. Congress Criticizes PM's Birthday Celebrations as Wasteful Amid Economic Crisis

The Uttar Pradesh Congress unit has criticized the Prime Minister's birthday celebrations, calling them wasteful spending during an economic crisis. State unit chief Ajay Rai alleged that 500 bikes were distributed in Varanasi as part of the celebrations, with riders required to pay ₹700 per day.

Rai claimed the scheme represented poor use of public funds at a time when the nation faces economic challenges. The Congress leader's remarks come as the PM's birthday was being marked across the country.
