AISF, AIYF demand scrapping of SIR and impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner

The All India Students Federation (AISF) and All India Youth Federation (AIYF) staged a protest demanding the scrapping of the Systematic Invalidation Report (SIR) and the impeachment of the Chief Election Commissioner. Carrying flags and placards, the protesters raised slogans against what they characterised as alleged vote theft during electoral processes.

The student and youth wings, affiliated with the Indian National Congress, contested the validity and application of SIR in election administration.
