Corporate Affairs Ministry Commits to Simpler Annual Filing Process

Pallavi Jain Govil, secretary in the Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has emphasised the ministry's commitment to transparent corporate governance and ease of doing business in India. Speaking at an interactive session in Indore, she stated that the upcoming annual filing season will be made simpler, faster, and hassle-free with stakeholder cooperation.
The ministry organised the session with industry representatives, company secretaries, chartered accountants, and corporate professionals to discuss technical and practical challenges in the annual filing process. The focus was on ensuring smooth filing of e-forms on the MCA-V3 portal and resolving technical glitches.
Govil urged companies not to delay submissions until the last date. The Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh submitted a memorandum of suggestions, and the secretary assured the ministry would consider and implement practical improvements to the filing process.
