CPI(M) leaders meet Home Minister over police action against activists

CPI(M) leaders met with the Home Minister to lodge a formal complaint against police officers, alleging partisan conduct and disproportionate force during confrontations with Student Federation of India (SFI) activists.
The SFI specifically named two officers from the Cantonment police station, accusing them of acting with political bias. The delegation demanded departmental action against these officials.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders also separately met with the State Police Commission regarding the same incidents, presenting their perspective on the matter.
