Delhi amends school rules, makes essentiality certificate mandatory for institutional land

Delhi has amended its school rules to make essentiality certificates mandatory for educational institutions seeking institutional land. Under the revised framework, the administration will review details submitted by applicants and conduct inquiries before deciding whether to issue the certificate.
The move aims to streamline the process of land allocation to schools and ensure that only institutions meeting specified criteria receive institutional land from the government.
