Delhi Police deploys heavy force at CJP founder's residence ahead of flag march

Delhi Police has deployed a heavy contingent outside the residence of Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke in the Flagstaff Road area ahead of a planned tricolour march. Dipke shared a video on X showing the police deployment, claiming the force was stationed to obstruct the flag hoisting event.
Dipke stated that the proposed activity is neither a rally nor a protest but simply hoisting the national flag at Central Park. He has dismissed police warnings and indicated willingness to proceed despite the notices issued by authorities.
The CJP has called for a gathering at Central Park in Connaught Place at 5 p.m., planned as a demonstration demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and protesting the judicial custody of Ashutosh Ranka and Sourav Das. Dipke previously expressed concerns about potential arrest in connection with the planned event.
