Delhi Police detains Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Deepke, party alleges kidnapping

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) alleged on Saturday that Delhi Police detained its founder Abhijeet Deepke and held him at an undisclosed location without providing information to his family, lawyers, or party members.
Deepke was taken into custody near Chandni Chowk while heading to Connaught Place to participate in a 'Lahraao Tiranga' protest demonstration, according to police sources cited by PTI. The party claimed he was subsequently moved to an unknown location and denied access to his legal representatives.
CJP leader Ajinkya Shinde stated that more than 10 hours after Deepke's detention, his whereabouts remained unknown. The party characterised the action as "kidnapping" and posted on social media demanding "Where is Abhijeet?" to highlight what it described as the lack of transparency regarding his detention.
