Delhi protest blocks daily wage workers from reaching workplaces

Daily wage workers in Delhi faced hurdles reaching their workplaces during a protest, with many unable to proceed without valid identity documentation. The labourers, primarily employed in small retail shops and construction sites, lacked the required identity cards needed to convince security personnel at checkpoints.
The workers were unable to verify their identity to authorities manning the protest areas, preventing them from accessing their employment sites. The incident highlighted the vulnerability of informal sector workers who often operate without formal documentation.
